Mr. Robertson began his career as a law clerk for a federal judge. He then defended civil cases for a number of years, and he eventually became a prosecutor. The breadth of his career has allowed him to see the system from all sides – from the bench to the defense to the prosecution.
Mr. Robertson was an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney (Colorado’s equivalent of an Assistant D.A.), in Arlington, Virginia, and during those years he gained a wide experience with criminal law. Mr. Robertson has tried cases ranging from traffic infractions to malicious wounding, with nearly everything in between. Further, he has negotiated plea bargains on a similarly wide array of charges. He knows how the system works.
Having seen cases from all sides, Mr. Robertson is well suited to assist you in the criminal venue. He has tried numerous jury trials and hundreds of bench trials, and he has managed a large docket of charges, ranging from credit card theft to DUIs to minor and major drug crimes.
